D FUNDRAISING PROJECTS . . . KIDS HELPING KIDS!

SCHOOL COUNTS HERE . . . AND THERE
The Gabriel Project is excited to announce a new initiative in 2010, focusing on schools in the United States like those hit by Hurrican Katrina. We are collecting school items such as rubber bands, staplers, staples, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, tape, tape dispensers, 3x5 index cards, notebooks, and composition paper to send to U.S. schools hit by natural disasters and our third world schools in need. People tend to forget that schools need these small items to help the day go along and The Gabriel Project is proud to make the effort this year to collect those necessary items. To make this as easy as possible for our supporters, you may send items or gift cards for Staples, Office Max, or Office Depot to founder Mark Melamed at the address below. Mark will make sure all items and gift cards are boxed up and sent or taken to the areas affected to help our next world leaders get off to a good start!

DGABRIEL PROJECT RECIPIENT UPDATES
Thanks to everyone's support of The Gabriel Project over the years, we are able to save children's lives. Here are updates on the 1st and 2nd Gabriel Project receipients. This is why we do what we do. God bless you all!

A young William "Willie" Mushi
This year (2010) marks the high school graduation of our FIRST Gabrial Project recipient, William "Willie" Costa Mushi.

Willie came to us at age two and had heart surgery to repair four holes and a bad aorta. Willie is now 18 and ready to go to college where he wants to study medicine!

He is the son of Felister and Costa Mushi and the big brother of Mark (named after GP founder Mark Melamed) Mushi and his sister Rose Mushi. GP founder Mark was asked to name their daughter and she is named Rose after his grandmother who at age 93 was writing letters to the Mushi family to say hello and welcome Rosie into this world!

Congratulations to the Mushi family of this great achievement!

Mark received a very touching letter from Rahim Kassam (2nd recipient of The Gabriel Project) and a recent photo.

Dear Mark, You have been one of my favorite persons because you have been helping people all around. Then this is a thank you message from me cause you were the one who saved my life so I thank you for that cause if you weren't there I would be not be existing. I really really thank you for what you did for my family.

LOVE YOU MISS AND I MISS YOU

Yours sincerely,
RAHIM KASSAM

D GABRIEL PROJECT UPDATE
We have just received word of four children from the Dominican Republic in need of help with missing limbs. We have a hospital donating the artificial limbs but we are still raising the funds to bring the children here. We have also received word of a heart patient from Vietnam who is in need of help.

We are also still searching for hospitals that will take our cardio children to help repair heart damage. The hospital in New Jersey that we have used for years has discontinued its program of helping foreign children. In today's economy, budget dictates this cut so we are in need of your help!! If you know any leads in this area, please let us know and we would be happy to contact them.

Any schools that you work with or know of that would like to open a chapter of The Gabriel Project, please have them contact founder Mark Melamed at TGP90@aol.com. Have pictures will travel! Mark has given talks to schools in Las Vegas, New York state, and all over New Jersey and has successfully received help from these schools. Maybe your school is next!

Kids saving Kids. It's what it's all about. Even though we can only afford one child at a time, it's one less child on a list for medical treatment. Thank you for your continued support!
